Brains, Buzzers, and the Deep Blue: My Dive Into Orca Bowl

The Washington Oceancare Alliance (WOA) was founded on a deep-seated passion for the ocean and a commitment to inspiring the next generation of environmental stewards. Our founders envisioned an organization that could extend beyond the walls of an aquarium, reaching directly into classrooms and communities across Washington State.
Today, WOA is dedicated to delivering engaging, hands-on educational programs that connect students with the wonders of the marine world. We focus on restoring vital coastal habitats, supporting crucial marine research, and building a strong network of advocates to influence policy and promote responsible ocean stewardship. We believe that by empowering the next generation, we can create a wave of change that ensures a healthy and vibrant ocean for all. Our work is more than a mission; it’s a commitment to the future of our planet.
To bridge marine research and education, cultivating a deep understanding and appreciation of our oceans and inspiring action for their protection.
